A slow….very slow – very long coffee break to start with whilst waiting for some wind. It did come. Mostly down the lake so we started racing.

Well – we nearly did. Dicks boat  escaped on its own – no control  but close hauled – sailing beautifully up the lake  – and, of course,  (as is often the case) uncatchable by fully in-control boats. But, just like Olivers 181 last week, it obligingly tacked onto starboard and sailed into the BLYM compound. It was successfully rescued by Dick and Tom who missed the first two races.

The wind slowly picked up enough to have  some two lap races, so not too bad in the end.
