Just five skippers turned up for the last RM race of the 2108 – 2019 season. They were rewarded with a good strong A rig wind from the West straight down the lake. This permitted the setting of a good long course of two laps. The course was also being used by the local goose population of a vast number of goslings that are now nearly as big as their parents.

Tom lost his rig in a collision in race 2 and this gave Trevor a chance to try out his new rescue tug. Unfortunately it transpired that it was under powered to rescue a Marblehead with its rig trailing in the water. Tom’s boat was eventually rescued by a friendly canoeist, but a lot of time had been lost. This meant that only 6 races are completed. Trevor won the day with a string of five wins.
