Tricksy wind #47(a, sub 2) mostly NE but with NW,N variants and occasional S , strength good to moderate, but overlaid with strands of weed. (Not to be confused with #28(b) mostly NW with NE,N variants, but NO S touches, and wind with short blasts, but no weed.)

A course of Blues start, and various triangular course variations (5, or A as windward mark, always 3 and either 2 or IB, with finish A/B) was reasonable under the above wind conditions. Chance is a bigger factor in these conditions, but with all skippers capable of winning, racing well does require good skills and concentration (and avoiding mistakes!)
