Another challenging days racing: wind light to very gusty, but mostly from the west; and COLD – not very cold but cold enough to be snappy on the races.

Given how weed free it has been, it was a little surprising that quite a few boats were affected by some strands, but the bigger difficulty were the extra strong gusts – especially so when nose diving out of control approaching the leeward mark whilst fighting for a top place!

Trevor I’s 3D printed (multicolour) boat went well today -as indeed the skipper did as well – winning a difficult race and third overall. The design and set up is proving to cope well with a variety of conditions and that always gives a skipper more confidence.
