A slight odd feeling racing session. Not quite desultory, but lacking in buzz…. and numbers!  Only 6 skippers, not entirely sure why as the weather forecast didn’t look un-inviting. Anyway, an  OK ish wind gave us an OK ish course. A dropped jib for Dick  and other retirements reduced the first two races to 4 competitors, but a better fleet for the rest of the day. 4 different winners, including one for Trevor  I – well done.

I rather think, though, that there was a fair amount of wanting to get back home in  the for another race. The one that ultimately had more of a shambles than often happens at our windward buoy! On the other hand, our sport is somewhat safer and somewhat cheaper!
