In recognition of the Platinum Jubilee, the (small) fleet sported Union Jack pennants. See photo ( and yes, every boat has one!).
5 skippers had a gentle mornings racing in a light, sort of north easterly breeze, allowing a course of Inner blue/2,5,3,1,5,3,1,C/4 finish, with some generous coffee breaks.
I think everyone had weed at some time – but its not yet at the stage where most people got weed most of the time, so some decent competitive racing was possible.
Tuesday – we will do some buoy moving, and some of us will be bringing J class as it looks at though we will be needing the Sunday J class series this year (starting July 3rd).
