Three Rivers Radio Yachting Club is a friendly Club that exists to encourage members to build and race radio-controlled model yachts. The Club races two recognised classes of yacht – the International One Metre and the Marblehead
We also race the Nottingham J Class on Sunday mornings in the summer weed season. At the 2018 AGM, the club approved the adoption of the Dragonflite 95 with the aim that it would provide a fun to sail boat at a lower cost entry to the sport. Both these two boats are sailed on Tuesday mornings by an enthusiastic group of members all year round
If you are interested in radio-controlled yacht racing, come and have a sail with us during our sailing mornings. No experience is required and we will lend you a boat and show you how to sail it. Call us or turn up at the lake and we will make you welcome. You will find contact details and directions to the sailing water at Rickmansworth Aquadrome (Bury Lake) in the main menu above.
