A great session of sailing today. Good wind, great sight of a big fleet of one meters racing on a good course. Ahh – if only every day as like this!
15 skippers enjoyed a down-the-lake-ish wind, giving a good long course (with only a couple of minor changes). A lot of close racing, and position changing, with 4 different race winners.
John Male took an excursion into the trees (loss of control) which meant the rescue dinghy was in action. Thanks to Tom for providing the oar-power to enact the rescue.
Lots of wind expected tomorrow (Sunday) , although that might be ‘today’ or ‘yesterday’ depending on when you read this note.
