Another so-so wind. Sometimes quite steady for a race or so. Then variable for a race or so. We did manage a triangular course of reasonable length so (!) it wasn’t so (!!!!) bad.

A couple of ‘old friends’ on the water today 160 and 180 – still going very fast in the light airs.

The Commodore takes the top place after a count back and there was a lot of close racing. And, for that matter, too many close encounters (of the wrong kind) at the buoys: don’t pinch to get round; don’t approach on port and just keep well apart. Remember, you are obliged to keep clear of other boats and give them room to tack or sail their course .
