There was a mix of A and B rigs for the first two races, but then the wind increased and we all went on to B rigs (except Tom who had mistakenly thrown
in his C rig this morning).
Richard made a welcome return to the sport of sailing with a fine first in
the first race – but then reality struck in!
We started with A/D,3,1,8,6,D,3,1,8,A/C for the first two races, then changed it slightly to : A/C,3,1,8,5,D,3,1,8,A/C . This gave us a good long course, and with the challenging wind, lots of opportunity for broaches, missed tacks, bouy hitting……., but it was generally a good, but chilly, days sailing.
