The wind today could have been called ‘challenging’ or ‘puffy’: it was called a lot worse at the lakeside. Although it was overall from the west – it was in reality all over the place: from the left, right, front, back, going upwards and maybe even downwards in vortexes, a lot or none at all; all at the same time and all across the fleet. It was horrible! We did manage a long course A/c. 3,2,7,6, twice, finish blues (with some variations). Tom, however, revelled in it and came a strong first. Well done!

Playing games with numbers is always fun (unless you are the race office – 2 sets of 3 equal points): #9 finished 9th twice; we had a finishes of 99, 9, 91, then 9,99,96 and 9,99,95 and even a 181,21,31…………

RM’s on Sunday; J’s Tuesday. Sunday 20th is IOM and Canal Festival weekend. Richard will have parking passes which will be needed.
