It was a sunny day, with a good-to-brisk wind down the lake – with the last race quite blustery. A good long course was set, with only a minor change after lunch. 7/8 start, 2,1 (becoming 3,2), white gate, round twice, finish blues. Once again some close racing, with decisions having to be made – tack out or stay in. Out preferred, but some skippers found a advantageous winds further inshore. However, inshore end of the finish line was a dead spot – not the place to be with other boats whizzing down from the middle of the lake. Quite a few ‘phewws’ to be heard!
David fastest and most consistent – Oliver less consistent. Lots of count backs – hope I got them right
