Strictly no Trade sellers.

Buyers:

  1. Before sending payment:
  2. Please obtain the first and last name of the seller.
  3. Please obtain the full address of the seller, which includes the house name and / or number, city or the town, and the postcode.
  4. Refuse the addresses of relatives or places of work.
  5. Please obtain a landline telephone number, ideally for the address which you have also obtained. Mobile numbers are also advisable but always ensure that you get a working land line number.
  6. Agree on a suitable time to call the seller. The purpose of this is to ensure that the number and address are genuine and also to help reinforce confidence in the seller.

Sending payment:

  1. Ensure that the correct amount is sent, including any postal & packaging charges which have been agreed upon.
  2. Check and double check that you are sending payment to the person who you are dealing with. Make sure that both you and the seller are aware of any clearing period, i.e. the time it will take for the payment to clear. If you can, get a receipt or other form of proof of payment.
  3. Keep a hard copy of all the details of the sale. Names, addresses, contact numbers, details of the items and all relevant dates.
